Why are analogue and ISDN going?

Categories: Featured, Technology news1 min read

Currently the PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network) supports a number of Openreach products such as: WLR3 analogue; ISDN2; ISDN30; SMPF; Narrowband Line Share and Classic products.

These will no longer be available from the stop sell date assigned to your local exchange. This will be phased and means by December 2025, they will no longer work for everyone across the country.

What does this mean to you and your business?

Everyone is going to have to move to a form of VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) system. Which essentially means your calls will go across your internet connection.

This advance notice from Openreach is your chance to get ahead of the game. VOIP solutions can improve your operations, cost less and are more feature rich.

ShineCloud is a VOIP service. A full cloud hosted one. And we can bespoke ShineCloud to your requirements and needs. This means when 2025 arrives you won’t have to panic and get poor service or more expensive services – as you have no to little choice. And you can reap all the benefits now!  There is no sense or benefit in waiting!
